To create a fusion energy, the atoms of hydrogen must be heated to about 150 million degrees Celsius, so the particles are ionized and have sufficient energy to fuse. Scientists have long sought to replicate the process of fusion on earth. If their attempts pan out, we will be having an inexhaustible source of clean power.
