The extra moon would add an extra gravitational pull, and hence
the amplitude of the tides will me much larger, wiping out major cities like New York and Singapore.

I guess it would also depend on the mass of the other moon (it could be the same size but made up of lighter or heavier compounds) and how close or far away it was? When the Moon was closer in the past this would have caused higher tides etc. What happens when the moon finally leaves earth’s orbit…. (I know its not going to happen for millions of years.. Or maybe even billions)
