Sports like football and soccer cause a significant proportion of injuries, but it’s boxing that’s the most dangerous.
“A punch to the head during a boxing match can range anywhere from 670-1100 pounds of force.”
THIS IS COOL. I WANT TO LEARN SOMETHING ELSE, TOO!

After my last family Christmas, I’d say the most dangerous sport is chess.

I was a thoroughbred Jockey for 13 years , I sustained 19 fractures. 5 separated shoulders too many shoulder dislocations to count. I have had four shoulder surgeries three screws in one shoulder. I was crushed twice sustained; a puncture lung,a lacerated spleen, badly bruised heart and liver. Pelvic injuries. And more concussions that I can count. three were so bad I couldn’t tell you my own name for several hours. Theses are standard injuries for jockeys. The ambulance follows the horses around the track when they race. We have a very dangerous sport.
