16 Psyche is a giant metallic asteroid floating between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter. Right now, NASA is working together with Arizona State University’s School of Earth and Space Exploration (SESE) to send an unmanned spacecraft to that asteroid. Why are they doing that? And, what makes 16 Psyche so special?
THIS IS COOL. I WANT TO LEARN SOMETHING ELSE, TOO!

I’ve watched abt how deep we went with the digging and its progress. That was just a tiny insignificant distance we ventured so far and it had so much to it. Now, we have to resort to an asteroid to study our core. This is fascinating.
