The average demand for oil and liquid fuels per day worldwide is 96 million barrels – that’s more than 35 billion barrels a year. With the demands on a steady rise, scientists estimate that we’ll run out of oil and gas in 50 years, and in about a century for coal. On the other hand, we have abundant sun, water, and wind, which are renewable energy sources. So what if renewable energy could account for 100 percent of the world’s energy supply?
