By 2050, the UN estimates that as many as 3.2 million people will live to 100 compared to 316,000 in 2011. Also, a 2013 study from the University of Massachusetts found that 25 year olds today can look forward to “2.4 more years of a healthy life” while a 65-year-old today can expect to live 1.7 extra years – than people who lived 20 years ago.
So, do you want to add more years to you life, or become a part of the elite centenarian club? This video from AsapSCIENCE tells you how to live past 100.
Also, did you know aging process widely varies among people? You might also want to read about 4 genes that make people live past 100.
Love the video. Living a well balanced life can be a work out hopefully all of us will do the best we can.

I am a rural family doc. I’ve had a woman in her 90s on no meds who chopped wood daily and a man in his 90s still haying every summer. Everyone over 90 is stubborn…. as Mae West said, “Getting old ain’t for sissies.”

I agree with floridaborne. Living to 100 should be a personal decision. Neither science, government or religion should be able to make that choice. IMO

This is a society that values youth. After the age of 35, you begin to fade into the background. Then, around 50, things start to break down, you’re living in pain and you can’t take a picture that’s worth a D@#^ without serious airbrushing. Meditation and yoga are great, and the advice about retiring is absolutely TRUE. But living to 100 is either a blessing or a curse — depending upon whether you really want to go there or not.
