The Fédération Aéronautique Internationale has demarcated the Karman Line – which lies at an altitude of 100 kilometers (330,000 feet; 62 miles) above the Earth’s sea level – as the boundary where space begins. But, NASA spokesperson Dan Huot explains from a physical science’s perspective that “there is no hard-definable point where space begins; the atmosphere just gradually decreases the higher you get.” So, where does space actually start? Watch Seeker explains in the video.
Space will always be a mystery to me. With only dust and gases out there, and heat radiating from low-gravity planets and moons, you’d think it would be hot out there – instead, you’d freeze.

Ebullism – the formation of bubbles in body fluids due to reduced ambient pressure – is the worse I can imagine. I also read space is extremely cold, but instant freezing wouldn’t happen because the vacuum would cause heat to transfer away from the body very slowly. Death would be extremely painful.
