Matt Wall, who is a neuroscientist, talks about neuroimaging and how brain-reading technology has developed over the years in a recent TEDxVienna event. His talks on What If We Could Really Read The Brain? gives an overview of current brain imaging technology and what can be done to achieve the technology that can fully understand of the brain’s coding system.

In particular, he talks about recent Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) studies. He also explains that the method he and his colleagues now use are different from the ones used by Sigmund Freud. Sigmund Frued was an Austrian neurologist and the founder of psychoanalysis, a clinical method for treating psychopathology through dialogue between a patient and a psychoanalyst.

Also don’t forget to read what happens to your brain when you sleep less.
