We all cry for a number of reasons and every time we cry, we shed tears. Tears are secreted mostly by the lacrimal gland which lies within the orbit on the outer portion of the upper eye.
Just another little bit of information: Tear consists of three layers – oil, water and mucus. There are three types of tear namely – continuous, reflex and psychogenic.
