THANK YOU FOR BEING AWESOME!
What is blog’s name withheld supposed to mean? Is it someone who wants anonymity or is it someone who has asked to be removed from your blog? Maybe there is an alternative explanation that I can’t figure out. Thanks for liking so many of my blogs. It is little inspiration but every little bit helps. Best wishes. Uldis

I would like to say I love your blog and the wonderful and beautiful things you share as well as the inspiration and smiles you bring in doing so! Thank you for being you and I hope even if you do not accept awards you will accept the sentiment expressed as I honor you with one. There is no prize that comes with the award other than my appreciation and being grateful you are part of our world and making a difference by sharing in such a positive way…
I have posted the award and link to it here I hope you will accept it or at least the sentiment behind it! http://artisticlyxpressedthoughts.wordpress.com/2014/03/27/awards-and-shared-gifts/

well this is such a cool post – and Later on I plan on peeking in on more as well….
also, as I read and scrolled the list – I thought how amazing of you to take the time (and care) to do this – how awesome – and go spark-on-it!!!

Thanks for the nice words, Y. Prior. Yeah, it took time but unfortunately, not all the bloggers listed above appreciate the time I spent on them. Perhaps, I should have taken their permission to post how awesome they’re. 🙂

lol – but keep in mind that some of them may not even know – not everyone gets the ping back – and well, for those that do not appreciate this kind of compliment – well they are still growing in their appreciation areas – ha ha
anyhow, I also think it was cool that you provided two active links so we could go and see a sampling – just an even sweeter touch than I first noticed – and maybe you can bookmark this post on one of your sidebars – sp it cane there is a resource…. – ?

I am 100% sure that they all got pinged, ’cause the links I provided are 100% valid. Anyway, I don’t care about it, I did what I had to do and I am happy with it. I assumed the guy on the XXV is the one who hated getting pinged at the most, I dropped him down from III to XXV and replaced his links with “#”. On his blog, he even said his blog is an “Award Free Blog” but what I did was not awarding or something. There are couple of more blogs whom I have to remove the links, they unfollowed me for promoting them without their consent, maybe.
LikeLike
well that really sucks – and you should just take them off completely…
also, people are funny when it comes to the awards – but I agree – this is not even close to being one –
also, was wondering if maybe they misunderstood the way you did it. I do not get all the “ping back” stuff – but I have skimmed a few posts that hate the ping back – and I think I even read a poem recently – really – it was about the dreaded ping back attack or something – and they said they hate them and leave a comment only – also, I heard there are people that abuse the ping back to drive traffic to their site – and even read a post about someone who was in trouble for it….
hm

Taking them off would disturb the order. And, yes I know awards can be annoying ’cause you have to forward it to some other bloggers and those bloggers would have to do the same. It’s like insisting someone to do something that they don’t wanna do.
They have nothing to be misunderstood ’cause I featured their blogs along with the posts, they should be thankful as I am giving them free backlinks, whether or not they had approved the pingbacks. Just a thank would have sufficed. I would call them arrogant or stuck-up.
Also, note that – giving a homepage backlink “example.com or archives” won’t ping, but everything besides that will ping.
LikeLike
yeah – you did this in a classy way and I think a thanks was in order – or at least NOT a snub (and thx for the info on pings)

WE ALL THANK YOU, RAZEEZ !! 🙂 As I said to Simon, to find on a blogsite that one follows a list of recommended blogs is a mine ready to be drilled … or dug into … or something. My analogy is not supported by any knowledge of mining tools ! [grin]

Well, some of the bloggers on the list didn’t appreciate what I just did to help them grow, I think they even unfollowed.
So, my message to them would be “Sorry, I annoy you with my generousness.”
And, for you – you are like the best sci-fi writer. Thank you for being awesome. 🙂

I read your post “Oh! WordPress, don’t be gullible”, that’s about the same problem I am facing. I have like only 3% genuine readers out of nearly 4000 (with 40 – 50 added everyday) subscribers.
Some genuine readers are being referred by external sources. I got this thing going for me, which is nice. 😛

That post was one I reblogged from someone else’s blog but it sparked (pun intended) a lot of debate. I came to the conclusion that we should just be thankful for the genuine readers and not worry about the rest. I really enjoy your posts. Keep up the good work. 🙂
