We often think about who would control everything we own on the web after we die. Sometimes, we also think it’s not that important but when it comes to planning for what happens after you’re gone is a reasonable one and it is really important for the loved ones you leave behind.

“We’re launching a new feature that makes it easy to tell Google what you want done with your digital assets when you die or can no longer use your account,” Google said in a blog post.

The Inactive Account Manager works only with your Google account. The user can tweak their preferences by going to Google Account setting page . All you have to do is to tell Google what to do with your account if your account becomes inactive for any reason.

Google further added, ” We hope that this new feature will enable you to plan your digital afterlife — in a way that protects your privacy and security — and make life easier for your loved ones after you’re gone,” in their blog post.
